Get to knowKanyon
My name is Kanyon Mann, and I am a UX/UI Designer based in Utah Valley. I recently completed a UX/UI design program through Springboard, where I worked on diverse projects, including capstone projects and a Google Ventures Style Design Sprint. My training covered everything from design thinking and user research to prototyping and testing. During my time at Springboard, I also interned part-time with Le Bent, an international ski/snowboard brand, designing effective email marketing campaigns and applying my UX/UI skills to create impactful and well-formatted designs.
Prior to this, I studied Marketing at Utah Valley University, maintaining a 3.93 GPA. I plan to return to complete my bachelor's degree in either Marketing or UX/UI design. My design style is inspired by retro/vintage themes, incorporating bold colors and unique functionalities. As a ski ambassador for several international brands, I dream of collaborating with these companies to design ski topsheets or goggle straps. In my free time, I love painting and often showcase my work in solo galleries or murals.
I am passionate about UX/UI design because it blends creativity with analytical problem-solving. I enjoy taking a fresh approach to each project, focusing on executing goals with innovative and thoughtful design solutions.
